ATP Hockey Talks Vol. 69 - Josef Marha

My guest today, born in Czechia, was drafted in the 2nd round of the NHL entry draft in 1994 by the Quebec Nordiques. He played 159 games in the NHL with Colorado, Anaheim and Chicago. His playing career spanned 22 professional seasons and over that time he accumulated countless awards and accolades including; a Calder cup, 5 NLA championships, 3 Spengler cups,  a Spengler cup MVP, twice an AHL all star, an introduction into the Swiss Hockey Hall of Fame and his jersey is hanging from the rafters in Davos where he is considered one of the greatest players to ever play for that storied franchise. ATP Hockey Talks Vol 67 - Tomáš Nosek

My guest today was born in Pardubice, Czechia. Since 2015 has played over 400 NHL games with Detroit, Las Vegas, Boston and now the New Jersey Devils. He’s a hard-nose player who made his way to the NHL by tearing up the Czech league in 2013. He won a Calder cup in 2017 with Grand Rapids while leading his team in points along the way.
