My very special guest is from the home of my heart, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. More specifically, the small town of East Bay. This man can basically do it all. Along with his dozens of tv and film credits as an actor, he’s also an audio book narrator, writer, singer, guitar player, entrepreneur and an all around great guy. He’s here today to share his journey in the acting world, and perhaps most importantly, his role as Boston Bruins captain Fern Flaman in the movie Goalie - the heart wrenching story of Terry Sawchuck. Please welcome to ATP Hockey Talks, my friend Billy MacLellan.
Our good friend Terry Whelan is back in the studio to fill us full of love and in-depth hockey knowledge. This time he reviews the heartbreaking film, Goalie - which is based on life of one of the leagues most infamous net minders, Terry Sawchuk. Haven’t seen it? You’ll want to after this episode!
